Every small child wants to grow tall - it's like an obsession! This beautifully written book relates to this perfectly through the eyes of a little boy who sees everything around him growing but not himself. The grass and chicks grow but he cannot see he has change at all. The illustration is adorable and there is plenty of text to read, ideal for both bedtime stories and independent reading.
