We all loved these books even before we'd opened them as our family is cat-mad! The beautiful old-fashioned illustrations of Ginger are just charming and both books have become favourites at story time. Ginger is a typical cat - he likes sleeping in his basket, food and being independent, but when a little black kitten arrives he is forced to change his habits! The stories are so realistic, and have a real warmth to them. I'd recommend them to anyone with animal-loving children and they make lovely presents too.
