Author Info

Peter was born in London but moved to a small country cottage in Rutland to become a full-time writer. He wrote for television, radio and children's comics, but in 1980 he decided to start a career writing children's books including the highly successful picture book The Night Pirates.

Illustrator Info

Deborah is becoming a huge star in children's illustration. She has more recently illustrated a new version of the classic campfire song - She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain. She lives in London.
