Author Info

Julia has written over 80 books for children. She has been a schoolteacher (which she thinks is the most important job in the world) and a journalist but now devotes a lot of her time to school and library visits to talk to children about writing. She lives in Bedford with her husband.

Illustrator Info

At ten years old Lynne decided that she was going to be an artist. Later she gained her degree in Printed Textiles before she eventually found what she really enjoyed. For many years she worked in editorial, providing illustrations for a wide variety of magazines and newspapers. Lynne also taught part time on an HND course for seven years. Lynne has illustrated over 25 picture books for a variety of young fiction readers. She lives in Sheffield.
