Registering with Bookaboo Bookashop

When registering with us as a new customer, we will create an account for you which can then be used for online or telephone orders.

Tips on choosing and protecting your password:

It is a good idea to choose a password which is easy for you to remember, but is not too personal to you or easy to guess. A good way of doing this is to choose a word and then replace one or more of the letters with numbers e.g. password becomes pa55w0rd. If you think that someone might know your password, change it as soon as possible – find out how to change your password.

Why has my account been disabled?

If you have received an error whilst attempting to log in informing you that your account has been disabled, this may be because:

  • An incorrect password has been entered too many times when trying to log in.
  • Your account may have been manually disabled by a member of our team due to a previous payment discrepancy or suspected third-party re-sale activity on the account.
  • It is possible that you previously had more than one active account, which we have merged into one account, leaving the others disabled.

Forgotten your log in details?

Password

If you have an online account, but cannot remember your password, please use our forgotten password service on the log in page. A randomly generated temporary password will be sent to the email address registered to this account. You will then be prompted to choose a new password when you log in.

Registered Email

If you have forgotten the email address you use to log in to your Bookaboo Bookashop account please contact Customer Services, who will be able to provide you with your email address.

Managing your account

You can manage your Bookaboo Bookashop account by simply logging in and clicking on the 'my account' tab, found at the top of every page.

Personal details

You can change your personal details simply by clicking on 'edit' and entering your new information. If you are altering your email address you will have to use this same address when logging in.

Password

To change your password simply click 'change', fill in the form and press 'save'.

Mailing preferences

Subscribe to our email bulletins by checking the 'receive newsletters' box. This will sign you up to our newsletters that are packed with information on products and all our Bookaboo Bookashop news. You can uncheck the boxes to unsubscribe at any time.

In order to alter your mailing preferences press 'edit'. Don't forget to press save in order for us to process the information.

Address Details

Billing address

You can only have one billing address on your account. This address is held in the address book and can be edited using the link to the right of the address. If you do not have alternative delivery addresses set up, this will automatically be used as your default delivery address.

Delivery address

You can have multiple delivery addresses saved against your account. Delivery addresses can be added, edited and removed in this area using the links to the right of each address. You can only create delivery addresses in the same country as your registered billing address.

Setting an a default delivery address

To set an address as your default delivery address, edit the address using the link and check the 'set as default address' box at the bottom of the form and then press 'save' to save the changes.

Past orders

Every order you have placed will be listed on this page. By default the most recent order will be displayed in full and others can be expanded if required. You can see all your orders here, including any placed by post or on the telephone.

Tracking your orders

The status of any order currently in progress can be tracked by clicking the ‘track this order’ link. Please see our Order Tracking section for a detailed explanation of how to use the order tracking facility.

Overdue orders

If your order is overdue and the order tracking doesn’t state that the order has been despatched, please contact Customer Services who will be happy to help trace your order for you.
